Discover the contemporary Quaker way

Dreamcatcher’s year

A year in the life of a Quaker boat
Readers will know that we follow the adventures of Eye’s favourite pilgrim Tony Haynes on his various jaunts along the canals of Britain in Dreamcatcher, his wonderful boat, accompanied by Diane (now joined in matrimony, see further down the story) and Sophie the sea-lurcher.

As the new year starts, we thought we’d take a look back at the epic journey Dreamcatcher undertook last year, travelling from Tony’s home patch of Godalming to the Yearly Meeting Gathering in York. They started before Easter and reached York two days before YMG. Pretty impressive.
