Lewes Friends support prisons
‘The prisoners are delighted that their work has been favourably received by the visitors and especially the positive feedback.’
Lewes Quakers hosted a display of paintings by men in Lewes Prison last month. Over 600 people came to see the display in Lewes Meeting House, which was held as part of the local Artwave exhibitions. Most of the pictures were sold over the two weekends, raising money for Sussex Pathways, a local charity offering help to prisoners.
