NFPB considers future priorities
Thirty-one Friends gathered on 28 June for the latest Northern Friends Peace Board gathering
Friends heard new Quaker guidance on how to organise locally-based walking tours at the latest Northern Friends Peace Board (NFPB) gathering. The resource, described by Dixe Wills, BYM’s peace campaigns coordinator, drew on research by Barry Mills, an NFPB member, into second world war conscientious objectors. ‘Whilst there was a sense of despondency, we heard of new opportunities and levels of engagement and witness,’ said a report on the gathering by NFPB.
