Representatives of Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC)and Britain Yearly Meeting (BYM) attended the installation of the first ever female archbishop of Canterbury, Sarah Mullally, last month. Tim Gee (FWCC general secretary) and Paul Parker (BYM recording clerk) were also invited to a small group meeting, where they gave the new archbishop a copy of Margaret Fell’s Women’s Speaking Justified – the first ever full-length written defence of women’s Christian ministry.
