Rise in Quaker attenders

Overall attendership is down over the last decade, but the rise in numbers over the last year has been seen as encouraging by some Friends.

According to the latest Patterns of Membership, the total number of members and attenders in Britain has gone up for the first time since 2008. While formal membership has continued to decline, attendership at the end of 2025 had increased by 511 since the end of 2024.
