British Friend praises staff and centre

Craig Barnett |

Craig Barnett of Sheffield Central Meeting has been appointed as the new director of Hlekweni Friends Rural Service in Zimbabwe. He and his family will move to the rural training centre outside Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, later this year. Craig told The Friend: ‘I am inspired by the people who have kept Hlekweni going, training young people in vocational skills so that they can support themselves and their families. There is a real commitment from the staff there, the board and the supporters overseas.’
