AFSC pledges to continue work in Gaza

AFSC said that its ‘localized operating model and the strength of established partners will enable this work to continue’.

American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) has said that, despite recent changes in legislation, it will continue to work in Gaza and across the occupied Palestinian territories. The pledge came after AFSC discovered that it was one of thirty-seven NGOs who had become restricted from providing lifesaving aid in Gaza after new measures were brought in by the Israeli government.
