Poem: Sita Loves Daphne

'...a melody of devotion.'

Daphne’s bodily design,
the spina bifida Kyphosis, defines
how Sita’s daughter pulls herself
across the carpet.
Her spindly legs are now the steering
shape of a perfect landlocked rudder.
