Quaker urges ban on trophy hunting
‘The scale of the industry is shocking'
A Quaker conservationist has written a trilogy of books to mark the tenth anniversary of the killing of Cecil the lion by a US trophy hunter. Eduardo Goncalves, from Portsmouth Meeting, has also produced a documentary about the world’s leading trophy hunters, and the companies that sell them endangered animals to shoot. The books and film were recently shown in the Houses of Parliament. Eduardo has also secured government and cross-party support for an import ban on hunting trophies.
